works in progress

this is a meta post about the writing process and isn't itself a work. but it would be wild to subvert the form so much that this actually is a work itself. but it isn't. it's an update. or is it? no really it is just an update.

the idea behind this blog was conceptualizing and finishing (or completing as much as possible) of some sort of writing in about a week. which i love doing, but for some reason the ideas i've had recently have required a lot more than that to do them justice. So i still have a 'break glass in case of emergency' option where i can just post them as-is and not lose sleep over it, or see them to their natural finality.
